R Madhavan finishes shoot for Netflix series 'Decoupled'

Sharing a photo of himself from the sets, he wrote,"ANNDDDD it's a WRAP!!! for #Decoupled Season 1 on Netflix.." In the photo, we can see him holding a book which has been written by his character Arya Iyer in the series.

Decoupled is a romantic comedy which will be streamed on Netflix. The series will have Madhavan and Surveen Chawla as leads. He will be seen playing the role of a rich but not so successful writer, whereas, Surveen will be seen playing an intelligent and successful corporate worker. The story is about a couple who is trying to mend ways in their relationship.

The series is written by Manu Joseph and directed by Hardik Mehta. It is produced by Bombay Fables along with Andolan Films.The audience is excited to see fresh pairing of Madhavan and Surveen. Release date of the series has not been revealed.

On the workfront, Madhavan will also be seen in his directorial debut  'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'. It is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of Indian Space Research Organisation who was accused of espionage. The film is written, directed and produced by the actor himself.

The film will be released in 6 languages which includes English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
