The actor spoke to News Helpline about the show, his character and much more. Talking about the show, he said, "I had not known about the Tandoor case before I read the script. I won't say I enjoyed shooting it because it is a very serious story. But I had a good time working with everyone.”

Talking about his character, he said," First of all I would say I was lucky enough to get a chance to shoot post first lockdown. When there was no work, I got the opportunity to work on this show.

Once the project was on, I had to get into the physicality of the character. He was not a traditionally good looking guy. So there were some insecurities which grunts out on your partner.

I had to gain weight. I had never transformed myself so drastically for a character earlier. But I think your physical appearance matters a lot because you start to think and feel differently. “

Playing such a dark character, how challenging it was to come out of it, sharing his views on this he said," I have heard many actors saying that the character stays with you. Luckily for me that did not happen. The general vibe on the set was serious but I would have fun between the shots. My acting was limited between action and cut. I was just portraying what was on paper. That's it.”

He further added,"I try to never judge a character that I play on screen. For me Sahil Sharma is the hero of our story. I had to honour the character.”

The show also features Amit Riyaan, Kamal Malik, Sonal Parihar, Shyam Mashalkar and Ravi Gossain.  It is all set to premiere on Ullu App on July 23.
