On the workfront, Vicky has a list of films in his kitty. He will be seen in 'Sam Bahadur' which is directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo Pakistan War of 1971, and the first Indian Army Officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. Film also features Manoj Bajpayee in a prominent role.

He will also be seen in 'Sardar Udham Singh' which is a biographical film directed by Shoojit Sircar. Vicky will portray the role of Udham Singh in the film. The film also stars Banita Sandhu alongside him.

He will also be seen in  'The Great Indian Family' . Manushi Chillar will be seen opposite him in the film. He is also a part of 'Mr. Lele'. Kiara Advani will be seen as his love interest in the film.
