I Play My Character, Don’t Care About Anything Else Says Mita Vashisht

Veteran actress Mita Vashisht, who is known for her strong and nuanced performances, says that she doesn’t really care about who is infront of her, she just play her character.

Mita Vashisht is back with second season of Your Honor 2, she was interacting with Newshelpline at the trailer launch.

We asked her if sharing screen with well established ensemble and finding voice of her own character is intimidating or stressful, she said, “I play my character, I really don’t care who is infront of me, and this is not something new. Even when I was a young actress working with people who were very big names, like when I did Drishti opposite Dimple Kapadia and Shekhar Kapur, Chandni opposite Sridevi, Drohkaal with Om Puri, these were the people you saw in magazines or movies posters, I didn’t see them on Television or social media, and I was so young and I was just stepping in the industry, I didn’t get nervous or scared back then, now it’s just a routine”

“I have always played my character and I don’t see who is there infront of camera with me, if you’re someone who is easily intimidated then how would you work in front of big directors?”

The series also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Gulshan Grover, Pulkit Makol, Kunj Anand, Richa Pallod, Suhasini Mulay, Zeishan Quadri, Mahabir Bhullar, Varun Badola and Parul Gulati.

The series is helmed by Eeshwar Nivas, and bankrolled by Applause Entertainment. The series is adapted from Israeli web series Kvodo. The story follows a judge who lets go of his moralities, relationships and goes on to undermine ethics in order to save his son.
