I Don’t See Nothing Wrong With Kangana Ranaut’s Statement Says Kamya Punjabi

Television actress and politician Kamya Punjabi says she see nothing wrong with statement Kangana Ranaut has made, and takes a very subtle jab stating indeed there are two sides to every story.

During her interaction with Newshelpline on the sidelines of a Beauty contest, we asked Kamya about her reaction regarding recent comments made by Kangana Ranaut.

Kangana aligns with BJP and Kamya took a subtly jab said, “We live in a nation, which actually has two sides; there are two sides to everything. Recently, some Hindu people were trying to stop Muslim people from praying, but a nearby Gurudawra opened their gates for Muslims to pray. We’re a nation where we celebrates Navaratri, pray to Godness, but ends up raping females, so yes, I agree with the whole thing. There are two sides to India; I don’t see anything wrong with it”

The mentioned incident recently took place when some BJP cadre was trying to stop Muslims from offering prayer.

With her show 'Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' coming to an end, Kamya wants to dedicate her entire time and energy to politics now.

Talking about her new career path, Kamya said, “It’s a complete change of career; the world of Television has given me a lot of love and appreciation, I’d work for 15 long years in Telly, my last show just ended and I was offered one more show, but I wanted to start a new chapter in my life, so I didn’t do the show and entered the world of politics”

“See, the way I am, I really want to do something good, I really want to help people and ignite that spark in women that they need to stand up for themselves and they can actually scream infront of everyone that yes, I am a girl and I can fight and I can win. I really want to make a difference and do the things that I’d always wanted to do”

When asked about if she is quitting entertainment world for good, she added, “I don’t know, I think it’s too early to talk about it, but yes, I am ready for politics and if that needs more time and focus out of me, I’d be more than happy to say goodbye to acting career and solely concentrate on politics”
