Keeping The Connect Over Seasons Is Challenging Says Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi is back with the most waited third season of Inside Edge based in the sports of cricket, says keeping the identification with the character and maintain the connect with audience has been the most challenging and credits the writers of the series for penning such relatable characters.

Interacting with Newshelpline at the trailer launch, Vivek said, “If you look at the genesis of the Inside Edge, it is India’s first multi-genre series, it had cricket and politics, and both the subjects are most highly spoken these days, both the elements were written in but how do you make it interesting, the sole of the inside edge is the characters, which the writers have written beautifully, that is why there is a high sense of identification with every character, and that connect is really important”

Further adding Vivek said keeping the connect via character was challenging, hence the writers kept adding layers. He said, “Keeping the connect with audience via character over the seasons was the real challenge. So, they kept adding layers to the character and with every season a layer is being peeled off, so you know them more, see their vulnerability and that is the challenge for writers, which they have done remarkably”

Inside Edge 3 revolves around legalizing of betting in cricket to check the black money around it. But some biggies won’t let that happen for their selfish gains.

The series stars Richa Chadha, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virwani, Sayani Gupta, Sapna Pabbi Akshay Oberoi, Sidhant Gupta, Amit Sial, Jitin Gulati, Himanshi Choudhry, Dalip Tahhil and Renuka Shahane.
