Akshay Kumar Wishes Everyone On Makar Sankranti

Mumbai, 14th January 2022 (NewsHelpline) - After sharing warm-wishes on the occasion of Lohri, actor Akshay Kumar celebrates the special day of Makar Sankranti and shares good wishes for his fans.

Sharing a picture of himself, playing the kite on a roof-top, actor Akshay Kumar captioned his post, “Mitthe Gur Me Mil Gaye Til, Udi Patang Aur Khil Gaye Dil…May #MakarSankranti bring new hope and joy in your lives. Bas vishwas ki dor pakad ke rakhna”

Makar Sankranti day is considered as the transition day of Sun into the Capricorn or Makara rashi. The days is observed with social festivities such as colourful decorations, children going house to house, singing and asking for treats, dance, kite flying, bonfires and feasts.

Meanwhile on the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Atrangi Re with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Next, he has a series of movies lined-up for release, such as Prithiviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Mission Cinderella, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Gorkha and Selfiee, to name few.

Prithviraj is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on life of Prithviraj Chauhan a Rajput ruler from the Chahamana dynasty. It features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut by playing her role Sanyogita.
