Mumbai, 20th January 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Newlywed Sanjay Gagnani says that he was only roped in for a cameo in popular serial Kundli Bhagya and ended up leading the show.

Sanjay Gagnani was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sets of a shoot in Mumbai.

When asked about despite not being the main lead in the Kundli Bhagya, he is still the most popular actor from the serial, Sanjay said, “I don’t know what exactly is called main role, but I came to this show for a cameo role, which would have lasted only three months. And when a cameo role is made main negative role, I don’t think anything could be bigger than that”

“This studio is like a temple for me, work is worship, and keeping that in mind, I come to work every day giving my 1000 percent, and when I pack-up, I am happy and satisfied. I had an amazing day, shot few power-packed scenes, there is a lot of drama coming on our show Kundli Bhagya” added Sanjay.

Newlywed Sanjay took his wife Poonam to Goa for New Year celebration and on return, plunged deep into work.

He said, “New Year celebration was awesome, I am in Goa. Thankfully I came back fit and healthy, and ever since that I’ve been shooting non-stop. The new year didn’t start on a good note, third wave have started, but hopefully, in coming time this all will be over soon, and we all will have an amazing year from Feb to December, I hope and wish for that”

Sanjay’s co-star Shraddha Arya recently joined the ensemble after testing negative.

When asked about Shraddha and her wellbeing, Sanjay added, “Shraddha is back on sets after COVID-19, she is not looking weak, she is back in her element, and she is happy. We even shot for a very long scene”
