Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan And Akshay Kumar Support Nirbhaya Squad

Mumbai, 26th January 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Marking the 73rd Republic Day of India super special, superstars such as Amitabh Bachchan along with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar praise and support the Nirbhaya Squad initiative started by Mumbai Police to protect females.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has lend his voice to the campaign which promote women’s safety helpline number, took to his social media and dropped a video post. He captioned it, “Nirbhaya Squad” is a dedicated squad for women in Mumbai City. ‘’103” is a dedicated helpline number that can be used by women in crisis or be used to report any women related crimes @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice #NirbhayRepublic #NirhbhayaHelpline103”

Superstar Salman Khan also took to his social media and praised Mumbai Police for creating the helpline number. He wrote, “Really grateful to our mumbai police for launching the ‘NIRBHAYA SQUAD’  for women safety, very helpful for working women, senior citizens, children and women in need.  @MumbaiPolice #womensafety”

Keeping Women’s safety in mind, especially in metro city, Mumbai police has come up with a special initiative to have an upper hand in terms of women safety and has launched Nirbhaya squad to prevent instances of sexual harassment and other women related crimes.
