I Was Like A Good Student Prepping For Radhe Shyam Says Pooja Hegde

Mumbai, 4th March 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Pooja Hegde who will be seen playing the role of Prerana in period romantic drama Radhe Shyam, says she was like a good student while prepping for the role.

Pooja Hegde was interacting with NewsHelpline for the promotion of her musical-romantic-period drama Radhe Shyam also starring Prabhas in the lead role.

Talking about prepping and getting into the skin of the character, Pooja said, “Like a good student, I wrote my noted and did my homework before showing up on sets, see every director has his or her own vision of character, I am playing Prerana in the film, so I had to align with my director to understand how he sees her and how I can be that on-screen. With my director, I discussed and worked out the character, internally rather than externally. My character is very internal”

Pooja Hegde is among few actresses who enjoy multi-lingual fan base, she is popular name across Telugu and Hindi cinema, as well as Tamil movie and she believes it is time for good content, medium and language barriers are gone.

She said, “I’d always said it, I never want to stick to one region or one language, I’d wanted to be an Indian actor, and I feel good content is good content, regardless of language or region and I’d always wanted to be part of good content, it can be daunting at times and keeps me up at times, but I’d always wanted to be do there different character for different audiences”
