People Saw Characters, Not Actors Says Pallavi Joshi On The Success Of The Kashmir Files
Mumbai, 14th May 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Pallavi Joshi says that the realness of characters clicked with audience, and that is the biggest achievement of the film as the audience saw characters, not actors.
Pallavi Joshi was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of musical program organized by The Kashmir Files team in Mumbai.
Talking about the key factors which made the film such a huge success, Pallavi said, “Every actor who has been part of The Kashmir Files, tried to make their character so believable, and I am talking about everyone in the film, while watching the film audience almost forgot that it is Anupam Kher or Puneet Isaar, they saw the characters, and they believe in the realness of characters”
Pallavi Joshi played the role of a biased and troubled professor who just couldn’t help herself and misguide students.
Further adding, Pallavi talked about her character and its relatability across board, “Some people approached me and said, they hate me completely, I think as an actor this is the best compliment Before the release of the film India, we went to USA and did pre-screening there, and trust me, most of the universities over there suffers the same fate, and students told me that they do have a professor like me, my character is that real and so are the other characters, and I think it is the biggest achievement of our film. People didn’t see actors, they saw characters”
