Mumbai, 24th June 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Actor Vidyut Jammwal says he is an outsider and would like to create his own path, and wouldn’t want to follow anyone.

Vidyut Jammwal was interacting with NewsHelpline during a press-meet for Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 – Agni Parikhsha.

Vidyut Jammwal started his career as a baddie in films, with time he craved a niche for himself in action-space, and now the actor has ventured into production as well, along with many hit shows.

When asked if he is following the footprint of other action hero’s, Vidyut Jammwal said, “I really cannot follow other people, I came from outside, I must make my own way, I really cannot follow someone else’s footprints. I do action movies, and I think the responsibility has increased to let the world know that best action films come from India”

Talking about his sequel of hit OTT release, Vidyut said, “The first part released on an OTT platform and audience loved it, and then they started demanding for the theatrical release, second part is made specifically for the theatrical viewing on audience demand”

Making sequels could be tricky, but Vidyut has his vision clear, he said, “Talking about sequel, as an audience I’d love if the stories are connected or totally different, when I am making Commando, the character is the same, but his destinations are different with different missions, and I’d wanted to make a movie which has two parts, and they were connected. In first part there is marriage, then having kids, and then becoming grandparents, the connectiveness and continuity of the story, I’d always wanted to make such a film”

Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha is written and directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh, and Ram Mirchandani under the banner of Panorama Studios.

The film also stars Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Sheeba Chaddha, and Rukhsar Rehman. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 8 July 2022.
