Laapataa Ladies Teaser Is Out, Helmed By Kiran Rao

Mumbai, 10th August 2022 (NewsHelpline) – After making directorial debut with Dhobi Ghat, filmmaker Kiran Rao is back with her second venture, titled Laapataa Ladies, the first official teaser for the same is out, and this one is most quirkiest and hilarious comic caper.

The film stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles. Set in 2001, somewhere in rural India, 'Laapataa Ladies' follows the jolly mess that ensues when two young brides get lost from a train.

The film has been made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, the script is based on an award winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue is written by Sneha Desai, and additional dialogues are written by Divyanidhi Sharma.

Laapataa Ladies' is scheduled to release in cinemas on 3rd March, 2023.
