Filmmaker Kabir Khan along with his wife Mini Mathur was spotted at the special screening of Golmaal Again here in Mumbai. During his media interaction, Bajrangi Bhaijaan director said the Golmaal franchise has always been enjoyable.

“I am really excited for the film. Golmaal Franchise has always been enjoyable and my close friend Arshad Warsi is a constant part of the series, so I am very excited, Arshad has organized this screening for us”

“Golmaal franchise is the type of film, which one would like to watch with the family. It is a film that entire family can enjoy. I’ve watched all the Golmaal with Arshad and enjoyed them” said Kabir Khan talking about the Golmaal Franchise.

Golmaal Again, the fourth installment in hit franchise was released on Diwali, starring Ajay Devgn Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Parineeti Chopra, Tushar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu in lead roles in Rohit Shetty helmed. The movie has been declared super-hit.

Post-Tubelight, director Kabir Khan has announced 1983 - the film will recreate the most memorable moment of the Indian cricket history that gave the country its first world cup trophy.

Actor Ranveer Singh has been roped in to play cricket legend Kapil Dev in an upcoming biopic based on 1983 World Cup.

Talking about the film, Kabir Khan said the film will start somewhere next year but before that, he is busy shooting mini-series for Amazon Prime.

“Post Tubelight, I am doing projects, we just announced 1983, which is based on the world cup, the movie will start sometime next year and before that, I am doing a mini-series for Amazon called ‘The Forgotten Army’” said Kabir Khan about his future projects.

The Forgotten Army is based on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army. It will be an 8-part mini-series.
