Despite a week in theaters, Kartik Aaryan's film still struggles

Shehzada, which is an official remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and stars Kartik Aaryan, has failed to make an impression on audiences since its release on February 17. The film has faced tough competition from MCU's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster Pathaan, and has not shown any significant growth in theatres.

The movie received mixed reviews from audiences, and its opening day collection of Rs 7 crore was much less than Kartik's career-best opener, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. On Day 7, February 23, Shehzada continued to underperform at the box office, earning around Rs 1.50 crore according to early trade reports. This brings its total collection to approximately Rs 27.40 crore.

Furthermore, on Thursday, February 23, Shehzada only had an overall 8.73 per cent Hindi occupancy, indicating a lack of interest from moviegoers. Despite being Kartik Aaryan's debut production, Shehzada has failed to impress and leave a lasting impression on audiences.
