Country Is Connecting Through Entertainment Says Shriya Saran
Mumbai, 10th March 2023 (NewsHelpline) - Actress Shriya Saran enjoys a massive fan following across different languages, she is known name across Hindi and South cinema, and believes that the country is connecting through entertainment.
Shriya Saran along with entire team of 'Kabzaa, were interacting with NewsHelpline during a press-conference in Mumbai.
Period crime drama is originally made in Kannada language, but will release in five languages, including Hindi. When asked about Pan-India release of films, Shriya said, “It is a good thing that the country is connecting through entertainment. I belong to the time of Doordarshan and now everything has become one i.e., Pan India."
Kabzaa' is a period film about the rise of gangsters in India, set between 1942 to 1984. It revolves around a freedom fighter's son who gets trapped in the mafia world. The film features Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa and more.
Talking about the role and movie, actress Shriya Saran said, “Many thoughts came in like what will be my role among so many heroes in the film, will I have any role or not. When director, R Chandru was narrating the story to me, after seeing the passion and dedication in his eyes, it showed that this film is larger than life."
