Anubhav Sinha Pens An Emotional Post Ahead of Bheed Release

Mumbai, 21 March 2023 (NewsHelpline) - Anubhav Sinha directorial Bheed, which revolves around migrants workers during lockdown, had its fair share of trouble, falling out with T-Series, partition remarks and what not, but as the film heads for its theatrical release, filmmaker pens an emotional and honest post, urging people to put aside all the biases and watch the film first.

Sharing a promo from the film, Anubhav Sinha wrote, “Long live friends! 'Bheed' is coming on March 24. The work was going on till last night. Yesterday I myself saw the complete final film for the first time. Something felt good inside the chest. It seemed that the film which had set out to be made was made. Well made”

“Need some help from all of you. Help me get this trailer out to all the people you think would like to watch this movie. Share, call, remind the date of March 24, make plans. These films are difficult films. In terms of making as well as in terms of reaching you, but still it is our responsibility to make these films and more importantly, that you watch these films”

“Need one more help. Please don't think about how it was censored, how it will be released, why the trailer was removed from T-series channel, why Bhushan's name was removed, how much advance was received, how much money was collected on the weekend. They are all the battles of the filmmaker. We are fighting, we will fight”

“All these thoughts coming between you and the film make your experience incomplete for which this film was made. Bhushan is my friend. We will make many more films together. These are all fanciful debates that goes on social media. Your only responsibility is to watch the film and tell whether you like it or not. If you like it, give love, tell others, if you don't like it, give advice. You like the film, that is the purpose of making the film”

“Bheed' is a story of relationships, a story of people, your story, my story. Sure listen. Pass this new trailer to all your friends and share in this new responsibility of such films. Zindabad” added filmmaker
