Mumbai, 21st March 2023 (NewsHelpline) - Anubhav Sinha directorial Bheed is based on migrant workers rushing home without food, water or any hope, especially daily wagers from Bihar and UP, and to chronicles the real pain, a new song Herail Ba is out from the film.

The regional dialect number is penned by Dr Sagar, it is crooned by Omprakash Yadav and Anurag Saikia and composed by Saikia. The song talks about the myth people had about their lives or its value, once the lockdown was in place, nothing really mattered, people were forced to face some hard realities of life.

Bheed is an account of the largest migration in India after the partition in 1947 which happened during the lockdown of 2020. It tells the story of how several characters in the film deal with the lockdown and migrate to a place they feel safe at, but couldn’t reach it.

The film is written and directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha, the film stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur and Kritika Kamra.

Bheed is set for a theatrical release on 24 March 2023.
