Would Like To Be Remembered As Indian Actor Says Ashutosh Rana

Mumbai, 22nd March 2023 (NewsHelpline) - A prolific speaker, writer, and actor Ashutosh Rana has been around for decades, with his stellar performance across genre and languages has inspired and aspired millions, and now the actor says he would like to be remembered as an Indian actor.

Ashutosh Rana was interacting with Newshelpline at a press conference promoting his new movie, Bheed.

As asked him he has seen the transformation of cinema and has worked in multiple genres, how would he liked to be remembered to coming generation and Ashutosh said, “I would like to be remembered as an Indian actor, and as an actor, like everyone else, I would like to be remembered for the character I played and liked, but also by audience as well, see, artist is a performer and audience is the maker, hence the beauty of performance is known to audience, not the performer, and when the audience fell in love with your performance and remembers it, our existence is justified”

“See when audience watch our character, we become watchable, when audience leave their home and spend money to watch us, we make a living, know this, every actor lives for the idea of his character being liked by audience” added Ashutosh Rana.

Bheed is written and directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha, set during the events of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown in India. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur and Kritika Kamra.

Bheed is set for a theatrical release on 24 March 2023.
