Want To Lead A Multi-Starrer Ensemble Says Niharica Raizada

Mumbai, 15th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Total-Dhamaal and Sooryavanshi fame Niharica Raizada says she doesn’t want to do a female centric drama but a multi-starrer as female lead.

Basking in the glory of latest release IB71, Niharica Raizada shed some light on upcoming project, said, “Multi-starrer film with me in the female lead role, but not female centric film. I love multi-starrer films, and if you look at my past releases, I have always tried to do a multi-starrer ensemble, I love it when a lot of people come together, and create something, it is an absolute pleasure to do such films. It becomes a joyride”

“Female centric roles are great, but I would rather do a multi-starrer film where female character has more power, I just want more screen presence, dialogues, more action, drama, romance, perhaps 2-3 songs with me in them, that is what I want to do next” added Niharica.

Clocking a decade in film industry, Niharica has explored main stream Hindi cinema as well as movies in Bengali, Teulgu, Gujarati, and German and French languages.

Asked her about making her Television debut, Niharica said, “When I was starting my career, I’d many opportunities and people told me to venture out in Television, but ever since I could remember, I have been fascinated with big-screen, I want to be seen on big-screen. I wants to do films, like real cinema. I was focused on big-screen and I will continue being part of films”

Niharica also believes that with OTT and digital expansion, cinema halls are taking a hit, and one needs to work on costing and make better movies for better foot-fall in theatres.

She said, “Now there is OTT, content access via phones, so most of us fear that cinema-halls will shut down, eventually. But I really don’t want that, I like the idea of community viewing, is a whole different experience, it has its own charm, and fun. I really don’t want the cinema-halls viewing out of fashion”

“Community viewing or watching movies in cinema-hall, the whole culture is dying out slowly. We really need to work on our costing, and we need to make bigger spectacle for audience to come back to theatres, my new release IB71 is one such film. We are trying to get the audience back in cinema-halls”
