Peacock drops the official trailer for a brand new series titled Based on a True Story, a true crime comedy riffing on the streaming obsession with true crime content these days.
The series is penned by Craig Rosenberg, about a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on America's obsession with true crime.
The series stars Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman, Liana Liberato, Priscilla Quintana, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, and Aisha Alfa.
Gritty and satire comedic thriller, revolves around a married couple whose youthful dreams hadn’t come to fruition and who saw the true crime tidal wave as an opportunity to change their lives and save their marriage.
