The singer who has given us many memorable songs like Sheila ki Jawani, Kamli, Chhaliya was raising awareness about a charity show being held for the Cancer Patients Aid Association on World No Tobacco Day (31May).

When asked about the hindi cinema showing tobacco products or smoking on screen, despite knowing its adverse effect, she said, "I am not going to say anything about it. It's a known fact that these things are not good for health. It's not only cinema but the biggest of sportsmen also endorse such things. Smoking is a personal choice for everyone, can't blame only Bollywood for it."

Sunidhi has been singing since the age of 13. Talking about the love and acceptance she has got till date in the industry , she said, "When I entered the industry, I was not needed here but my unique voice quality made me stay here. Audience accepted me wholeheartedly because of the uniqueness of my voice. "

A concert is being organised by the name 'Sunidhi Live' to raise funds for the Cancer Patients. When asked about the concert and her plans for it, she said, "I will perform the same way as I perform in all my other concerts. Our main aim is to raise funds for the association and I hope we are able to achieve that. Plus, people coming to the concert must be able to enjoy themselves. I sing from the heart because I don’t know anything else. When I am on the stage I am my real self and the most comfortable. ”
