I Am A Gully Cricketer Says Radhika Madan
Mumbai, 19th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actress Radhika Madan, who will be seen leading an under-arm cricket team in forthcoming slice of life drama Kacchey Limbu, says she has been a gully-cricketer in her childhood, and it was lovely to relive her memories.
Radhika Madan along with co-star Rajat Barmecha and Ayush Mehra was interacting with Newshelpline to promote her new movie Kacchey Limbu.
Talking about the film, which is a sports drama revolving around cricket but with a twist, actress Radhika Madan said, “I have played Gully-cricket when I was little kid with my brothers, I was literally the Kacchi Limbu at the time, I had fun reliving my childhood again, I remembered my brother a lot, I had fun doing the film, I learnt a lot, it was a great experience”
Radhika Madan also added that she is trying to reach a different fan base with the movie. “Everyone just saw me in a series, (Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo) and I am doing something entirely different, so everyone is excited about it, my parents are excited about it, I am fully excited, I am trying something different and if I can reach a different set of people, it will be a huge win for me.”
Helmed by Shubham Yogi, the film which celebrates the bond between siblings while exploring the challenges of pursuing one's passion amid familial expectations, cricket being the centre point of the film.
