We Created Jai Shri Ram Song With Divine Intervention Says Ajay-Atul

Mumbai, 22nd May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Composer duo Ajay-Atul credits the first single, Jai Shri Ram from forthcoming Adipurush, a composition of divine intervention.

The makers of Adipurush launched its first single, Jai Shri Ram in a star-studded event in Mumbai. The song launch was graced by filmmaker Om Raut, Bhushan Kumar, Anil Thadani, Devdatta Nage and composer duo Ajay-Atul.

Talking about the song, Atul Ashok Gogavle of Ajay-Atul duo said, “We have done a lot of songs, trust me we usually take credit for the song, but when it comes to Jai Shri Ram song, I don’t think we can take the credit of making this song, this is divine intervention, it’s like someone just whispered it in our ears. This song came with a lot of responsibility, if you all remember the Ramayan serial, the moment its title song would start, we would automatically connect with it, and we wanted to make that sort of song which would connect with audience and we have attempted the song with a lot of purity”

Filmmaker Om Raut also shared an anecdote about the song. He narrated a incident, he said, “I have been friends with Ajay-Atul for the longest, and first time I collaborated with the duo was for Maay Bhavani song in Tanhaji, and every time you visit Ajay-Atul’s studio, there is this decorum, where I go in the studio, sit down for a little while and then we talk about work, and then they will take you to their studio where they actually create song, so this actually a process for all the time. Even if you need to listen to a five minutes, you got to take at least hour extra, just to listen to the song because of their routine”

“And whenever I ask them about their feedback on any song, Ajay would always say, you listen to it first, but when it came to Jai Shri Ram song, I went through the whole routine, but this time Ajay told me, this song is mast, for the first time in his life, he actually gave me feedback”
