Action Is Tough Says Shahid Kapoor About Bloody Daddy

Mumbai, 24th May 2023 (Newshelpline) – Actor Shahid Kapoor, who will be seen playing the role of NCB officer in Bloody Daddy, says performing action is tough.

Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar were interacting with Newshelpline during the trailer launch of Bloody Daddy, which is an official remake of French drama Sleepless Night.

When asked about first ever all out actioner in his career, Shahid said, “Action is tough, and do it within 36 days, was really challenging. Ali didn’t want to comprise on the production value, so, the best we could do was cut down the number of days, in order to shoot the film, and it was intense.”

Trailer is packed with sleek action, but in realistic space, when asked about this new kind of genre, Shahid Kapoor said, “I don’t want to make tall claims when it comes to the action, that it will redefine the genre itself, it doesn’t feel right, but we have put in real hard work, the film is made for OTT consumption across the globe and it is made keeping that in mind, and as usual, Ali’s action is gritty, edgy, and new age”

“Bloody Daddy belongs to a certain mixed genre, we have gone more towards real, and it has Ali’s signature flavor. And that is what makes the film enjoyable, because on one hand, you’d feel this is really happening, and on the other hand, there is this adrenaline rush, which makes it fun. It is a different kind of slick actioner with a fresh cinematic and visual grammar” added Shahid.
