Can’t Wait for Padmavati to Release - Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone graced the Van Heusen and GQ Fashion Nights here in Mumbai. During the media interaction actress expressed that she can’t wait for Padmavati to release.
“I will only say that the love we all are getting, whether it is for posters or trailer or song, I think we all are very excited and overwhelmed by the response and we can’t wait to share this film with everyone. It has been an incredible journey and we are literally counting the days, we can’t wait for the film to release and we can’t wait to share this experience with everyone” said Deepika Padukone talking about the response for the film.
Padmavati is caught in the eye of storm, with Karni Sena and other religious sectors protesting against the film. Recently filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali issued an audio-video clarifying the rumoured dream sequences in the film but protests are just mounting up and Deepika says she has nothing to say about that.
“I will not say anything” said Deepika about the Padmavati controversy.
Recently Deepika Padukone completed ten years in Bollywood and her debut movie Om Shanti Om with Shahrukh Khan started trending on social media. Talking about one decade in Bollywood Deepika expressed that she has a lot more to offer.
“It has been an incredible journey, in fact, I was with Farah Khan the day we celebrated ten years. It was absolutely ironic that we were together because it was a last minute plan, which kind of fell into the place but somewhere I also feel that it is a sign. I am spending a lot of time with her after a long time. It was great catching up with her. It doesn’t feel like I’ve been here ten years, it feels like I’ve just started off. I feel like I’ve so much more to give and so much more to do, and I feel this is just the beginning”
Post-Ghoomar, makers recently released the second song Ek Dil Ek Jaan from the film and it went viral. Deepika Padukone shares the film is going to be special and feel grateful for the love.
“We are very happy that everyone appreciated the song so much and this is one of my most favorite songs. I am very happy that everyone liked the song, whether it is the chemistry or visualization or the moments in this song. I think we are equally excited about the release of the film and it is going to be special” added Deepika.
Deepika has recently wrapped up the filming of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. She has also started promoting the film. Her regal look from the film has been widely appreciated and fans have been waiting with bated breath for the film to release.
The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The movie is slated for 1st December, 2017 release.
