Good Actors Should Be Complementing, Not Competing Says Ashutosh Rana

Veteran actor Ashutosh Rana, known for his intense and compelling performances, believes that good actors should complement each other, rather than compete.

In a recent interview, Rana expressed his philosophy, saying, "They complement each other, and if you could just learn the art of complementing your co-star, then you can save yourself from the burden of competition. Rather than being a rival or competitor, you could be completing each other. And good actors shouldn’t be each other’s competitor but complimenting each other, I believe in that."

Furthermore, Rana dismisses the notion of "scene stealing," stating, "I do not believe in scene stealing, though I hear the term a lot of times. I don’t believe in it personally."

On the work front, Ashutosh Rana is currently enjoying the digital space with Murder In Mahim series, written by Mustafa Neemuchwala and Udai Singh Pawar and directed by Raj Acharya. It also stars Vijay Raaz, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Shivaji Satam.

Ashutosh was also seen in series Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond, directed by Santosh Singh also starring Ashish Vidyarthi, Jimmy Shergill, Lara Dutta, Aakanksha Singh, Mir Sarwar, Prasanna, Sikandar Kharbanda and others.
