Anupam Kher Shares His Gadda Connection

Anupam Kher, the veteran actor known for his versatile roles and charismatic presence, recently shared an endearing anecdote about his connection with Chhota Bheem and Gadda.

Anupam Kher along with the entire cast and crew graced the Jamboora and Zara Muskura song launch from Chhota Bheem and The Curse Of Damyaan in Mumbai.

While holding a Gadda in his hand, Anupam Kher took a walk down the memory lane and said, “Can you believe it, I am holding a Gadda right now, and my first ever role in my life, first ever, was of a monkey in lord Hanuman’s army in my fifth standard, and this is first time after my school that I am holding a Gadda, and today I am like a bada bheem.”

The movie features a lot of child artists, and working with them has been a learning experience for Anupam Kher.

He said, “I got to learn a lot from these kids, they are this generations kids, trust me I have a lot of movies with child artists in my career, but these kids are very straight, they are modern, aware, and know to use a mobile phone, you can actually learn a lot from them, if you sit down with them, they will teach you thing or two. Even, I try to learn from them, I don’t go on sets thinking I am someone who knows things, I go as someone who is seeking something from people on sets, there was a lot of spontaneity on sets.”

Adding about the film, Anupam said, “It is an actual international standard film, special effects and VFX are so good, I would just request the audience to watch the film with their kids”.

The live-action movie is helmed by Rajiv Chilaka, written by Shridisha Dilip and Niraj Vikram. The film also stars Makrand Deshpande, Yagya Bhasin, Surbhi Tiwari, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, and more. The film is slated for 31st May 2024.
