Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Article 15' Box Office Collection remains steady through first week

Article 15 that released last week has remained steady on the box office in the first 7 days of its release. The film directed by Anubhav Sinha starrer Ayushmann Khurrana and garnered alot of love and praise from the audience and critics. The film started with a collection of 5 crore followed by a total of more than 20 crore over the weekend.

Post the weekend the film saw a drop and earned Rs 3.97 crore. In the following days and maintained the number over the remaining week. The film collected Rs 3.67 crore on Tuesday and Rs 3.48 crore on Wednesday. The film has seen tough competition from Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh which has collected over 200 crores in 14 days.

The film may earn around Rs 3.05 crore on Thursday with the total collection upto 34.21 cr at Indian Box office. The film is also locking horn with Spiderman Far From Home.

Article 15 based on true events talks about caste discrimination prevalent in the country. It is loosely based on the 2014 Badaun rape case which has been used as a base to present a story with a social message.
