Shreyas Talpade Urges Amazon, WhatsApp To Take Action Agaisnt Impersonator
Every now and then, Bollywood celebrities becomes unwanted victim of frauds and scams, the latest to be hit by impersonation fraud is Shreyas Talpade and his wife Deepti Talpade.
An unknown person has been impersonating as Shreyas's wife Deepti Talpade and claiming to be Amazon's Casting Head and asking people to send their profiles to her.
Golmaal Actor Shreyas Talpade just took to his social media profile and issued a statement on his and Deepti’s behalf. He wrote, “Hello @PrimeVideoIN request you guys to take action on this asap. @DeeptiTalpade @WhatsApp #Amazon #WhatsAppFraud”
The statement read, “Hello Team Amazon...This is to bring to your notice that some conman or woman is impersonating as my wife, Deepti Talpade, an independent film producer in her own right and is claiming to be Amazon’s casting head and asking people to send their profiles to her. Not only this, she is using the picture of me and deepti as her profile picture and contacting people through the same Whatsapp identity. Deepti would like to clarify that she has nothing to do with the same and would like Amazon authorities to look into the same”
“My request would be to investigate the same as quickly as possible...it is unfair to the people responding to her thinking that she is actually Deepti. Thanks, Shreyas”
