Superstar Shahrukh Khan joins hands with Swachh Bharat Campaign and unveils an inspiring video on Gandhi Jayanti to encourage people.

To mark the 2nd October – Gandhi Jayanti super special actor Shahrukh Khan unveils a video to promote Clean India campaign and urges people to use toilets.

Shahrukh Khan dropped the video on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Milkar karein apne Raashtrapita aur apne Pradhan Mantriji ke ek #SwachhBharat ke sapne ko saakaar. @SwachhBharatGov @PMOIndia #MyCleanIndia”

In the video, SRK is seen saying, “Namaskar, open defecation is not just unhygienic but causes all sort of diseases as well. Houseflies and bacteria growth due to open defecation cause all sorts of illness to you and your family. Diseases like typhoid, hepatitis, diarrhea, and water-related illnesses are caused. So for defecation use toilets”

“Let’s come together for our Nation’s father (Mahatma Gandhi) and Prime Minister's dream of Swachh Bharat come true because we belong to this great nation and this great nation to us. Jai Hind”

On the work front, Shahrukh Khan is busy with his most ambitious project, Zero, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the leading roles.

Zero is written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film is jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment's Gauri Khan and distributed by Yash Raj Films.

The plot follows Khan playing a man of short stature, who falls in love with a superstar played by Kaif. Sharma portrays the character of a girl with an intellectual disability.

The film opens in theater on 21st December 2018.
