Vivek Oberoi while talking about India's growing support for Me too moment said abuse of power should have repercussions.

Vivek interacted with media at the sets of India's Best Dramebaaz on Tuesday alongside the cast of Namaste England.

The 'Inside Edge' star when asked to share his view of the growing support from public and Maneka Gandhi an union minister, he said, "Whether is is Bollywood or Hollywood, whether it is film space, journalism or office space we should be working towards making our women feel safe. It is our responsibility, not only as men abut as society.

A sense of respect, equality is very important. Its been 70 years since the country has been independent but there are ps many women and girls who haven't gotten the independence."

He also said these situations are part of every industry and needs to be opposed for better conditions. "No matter in which industry and no matter how much power you have making ill use of it is unacceptable. Me Too moment has brought a purge that will clean the system abroad and it should happen here in all fields and industries. This abuse of power should be opposed and there have be repercussions for it."

Vivek who has been judging the Zee show ' India's Best Dramebaaz' said, "I am excited for the finale of the show. We have spends 15 weeks with them and that time has made us into a family. We have seen them grow right in front of our eyes. And kids from the past seasons we have seen them do really good in shows and ads. It encourages us and makes us feel like we are really doing something.

Vivek was last seen in season one of the Amazon Original, Inside Edge' alongside 'Love Sonia' actress Richa Chadda.
