When asked about coming back to direction after 8 years, Director Vipul said, "Directing after a gap feels like the first film and my gap was longer than anticipated but I am happy being back and I am glad that I made this film as the first film after the gap."

The common theme between Vipul's films is England and the London, when asked about the thought behind using the country as a backdrop he said, "London because when I started searching for the story to direct, one thought started this entire journey that if a girl makes a decision in life will it be followed by everyone or will there be objections. After that we started developing the script which turned out ot be what it is now. Later we also wanted the story to be about how far can you go for your love."

He added, "Then we wrote it, it had to be London and Punjab. We tried Canada but I mentally couldn't see Canada as part of the film. Then we went back to england and that's how it became Namaste England."

‘Namaste England’ is romantic comedy film directed and co-produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film will bring the 'Ishaqzaade' jodi Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor together after 6 years

Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and presented by Reliance Entertainment, 'Namaste England' is slated to release on 19th October 2018.
