Sui Dhaaga is a tribute to the common man of India: Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan says his recent successful film, 'Sui Dhaaga' is a tribute to the common man of India.
Varun Dhawan interacted with media at the success press meet of 'Sui Dhaaga' with the film's co-star Anushka Sharma.
When asked Varun Dhawan how it felt to have the film cross 100 crores world wide and people appreciate the film so much, he said, "Sui Dhaaga was always a mixture of content and commerce and when such a film does great it feel well. And especially when common man comes to you and tells you how they related with your character it feels great. Sui Dhaaga in a way is a tribute to the common man of India. This film will always be special for me."
Varun and Anushka in the film are seen as the married couple Mauji and Mamata as a tailor and an embroidery craftswoman.
Anushka's acting has been appreciated by critics and audience alike and also been deemed as National award winning performance. When asked to comment on the same she said, "I can't comment on something like that and don't even want to think about it."
