Should Punish the Man, Who has Wronged Woman Says Sonakshi Sinha

Actress Sonakshi Sinha graced the Palladium 9th Anniversary by Donating to Children of Smile Foundation. During her media interaction, Sonakshi expressed that Man, who has wronged a woman, should be punished.

Phantom Films director and producer Vikas Bahl is facing rape charges and Sonkashi has worked with the company in Lootera film.

Expressing her take on the situation, Sonakshi said, “See, all I am going to say is that, should women speak up, when they have been wronged, of course, a one hundred percent. And should the man who has wronged the woman be punished, two hundred percent yes”

“But I also feel that facts and figures should also be verified before we or media talk about it. If it is in the hands of the law, the law should take its course, and women should speak up and the man, who has wronged them, should be punished” added Sonakshi.

Talking about initiative Sonakshi Sinha also added it is wonderful and fantastic and she is really happy for the association.

She said, “I think it is fantastic and a wonderful initiative that they have come forward and given such a big percentage of their proceeds to a charity like Smile Foundation. And whatever little we do, really goes a long way, and I always love seeing the smile on these kids’ faces. So I do whatever little I can, and it is amazing being here”

Further adding, “I think we are very fortunate that we are put in a position where we’re able to help people and if we do not make use of that, I think it would be the biggest sin in life. So truly thankful to God for whatever he has given me, and whatever I can give back, in whatever way I can, I try and do my bit”

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in “Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi” and next, she is gearing up with Kalank and Dabangg 3.

Kalank is an upcoming period drama film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
