Amit Sharma directorial Badhaai Ho is a quirky romantic tale, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in the lead roles.
The movie deals the sensitive issue of mature parents dealing with pregnancy at an age where their grownups are planning their marriage. Now, filmmaker Amit Sharma has even a quirky reply on the film.
The team organized a massive Godh Bharaai ceremony in Mumbai to promote the film and during the media interaction, when asked about the inspiration and intellect behind the movie.
Amit Sharma said, “If woman gets pregnant by her own husband, than there is no issue! And if the woman gets pregnant at certain age, it is a good thing, if husband and wife are in love, then why not”
“Aim thing is love between husband and wife. We do tend to take it as an embarrassment in our modern society but things like these do happen and they use to happen back in days too. My grandmother and her mother, were pregnant at the same time, so there is only two months difference between my uncle and his uncle”
