Sajid Khan Steps Down From Housefull 4 Directorial Post, Issues a Statement

Finally, Sajid Khan issues a statement in the wake of #MeToo Allegations and Akshay Kumar cancelling the shot of the film.

Sajid Khan wrote, “In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of my film Housefull 4, I must take moral responsibility to stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth…I request my friends in media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out”

Sajid Khan has been accused by Saloni Chopra, Rachel White and Karishma Upadhyay of sexual misconduct and harassment. Due to which Akshay Kumar took a stand and cancelled the shooting of Housefull 4, until the issues are sorted.

Now Sajid Khan has voluntarily stepped down from the directorial post, until the allegations are proven or not.

The whole thing started with Tanushree Datta opening a can of worm on Nana Patekar, who apparently is part of Housefull 4 ensemble.

Housefull 4 is an upcoming comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is the fourth installment of the Housefull series, and the third to be directed by Khan who also directed the first two installments.
