After Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan taking strong steps against the filmmakers who have been accused of sexual harassment recently, Ajay Devgn, too, has decided to stand for any woman who has been wronged.

Recently an actress has accused director Luv Ranjan of sexually harassing her during the test look of his 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The interview went viral and caught the eye of Ajay Devgn, who didn’t waste any time standing for the woman and demanding “Harsh Punishment”.

Superstar Ajay Devgn, who is collaborating with Luv Ranjan for two projects - De De Pyaar De and an untitled film, clearly stated that if anyone has wronged any woman that he would not stand for it.

He wrote on Twitter, "I'm disturbed by all the happenings with regards to #MeToo. My company and I believe in providing women with utmost respect and safety. If anyone has wronged even a single woman, neither ADF [Ajay Devgn Films] nor I will stand for it."

Meanwhile, Luv Ranjan has dismissed the allegations calling them absurd. "It's so absurd that I don't know what to say except that I deny it. I don't know how to react to an anonymous allegation beyond this and am willing to face any legitimate enquiry" he said in an interview.

The #MeToo campaign has gained momentum in India after actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of harassment. Following allegations against Sajid Khan, Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl and many others from within the film fraternity.
