In the wake of #MeToo Movement, filmmaker Sajid Khan is facing allegations from not one but three women from within the film fraternity.

Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviour by Saloni Chopra, Karishma Upydhaya and Rachel White, who in some capacity has worked with the filmmaker or had close interactions.

Due to allegations, Sajid Khan has been dropped from forthcoming mega movie Housefull 4, which stars an incredible ensemble of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Sharad Kelkar, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Chunky Pandey, Nana Patekar, Boman Irani and Johnny Lever.

Now, Sajid Khan’s sister, a noted choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan have issued a statement, that she doesn’t endorse such behaviour and stands in solidarity with any woman.

Farah Khan wrote, ‘This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for. I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt”

In fact, due to allegations and pressure from Housefull 4 team, Sajid Khan has also issued a statement, stepping down my directorial post of the film.

Sajid Khan wrote, “In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of my film Housefull 4, I must take moral responsibility to stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth…I request my friends in media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out”
