Bollywood Remembers Abdul Kalam On his Birth Anniversary

Bollywood is all praises and wishes on the Birthday Anniversary of Dr Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam known as the ‘missile man’. Celebrities like Madhuri Dixit Nene, Gautam Rode, and Rahul Dev remembers the great man on his Birthday.

APJ Abdul Kalam was the head architect of Pokhran II nuclear tests, the Agni and the Prithvi missiles. He was elected as the 11th President of India from 2002-07. He was India's first President who was a bachelor and a vegetarian.

Wishing the great man on his Birthday, talented actress Madhuri Dixit Nene took to her social media profile and wrote, “Remembering the visionary, Dr. Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary! May his thoughts continue to inspire generations, all over the world. #Abdulkalam”

Apart from Bollywood celebrities, Indian cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina and many more wished the great man.

After working for two decades in ISRO, Kalam took up the responsibility of developing indigenous guided missiles at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

He was responsible for the development and operationalization of Agni and Prithvi missiles, which is why he is called the 'missile man'.
