Kunal Kapoor says everyone deserves a safe environment, sexual harassment is not gender specific men also are victims of this sort of harassment.

Kunal Kapoor who was last seen Gold, walked for Vikram Phadnis wearing a special piece from his bridal collection on Wednesday.

After Tanushree Dutta's allegations against veteran actor Nana Patekar, #MeToo movement gained momentum in India. Soon many such sexual misconduct cases came forth in media and the entertainment industry including charges against Sajid Khan, Alok Nath and Vikas Bahl and more.

When asked Kunal to share his thoughts about the #MeToo movement he said, "I am happy that something like this is happening and it was long overdue. This kind of sexual harassment and predatory behaviour needs to stop. I can imagine how difficult it must have been for all the women that have come out and speak, and how much courage you need to do something like that. Everyone needs to come forward and support them. Not only just women but men as well. Sexual harassment is not gender specific men also are victims of this sort of harassment.

People on social media will make you believe that Metoo movement is anti men, and I don't think anything can be further for the truth. An empowered women is very important for society. Men and women being equal is the way the world should be.I believe it is a basic right whether you are a man or a women to have a safe workplace environment." he further added.

Talking about walking for the designer, Kapoor said, "This was a lot of fun Vikram Phadnis is a very good friend of mine and to do this for him has been amazing. And second this setting, music, stage has been great, it doesn't feel like we are in Marriot right now."

Kunal walked the ramp next to his 'Rang De Basanti' co star, Soha Ali Khan.

Talking about his future projects, Kunal said, "There is a lot of exciting stuff coming up. There are three films I have nearly locked and those will be announced in the next couple of weeks. The stuff that I am writing, one of them is going into production tomorrow."

Kunal will be seen next in a Telugu action comedy film titled, 'Devdas' along side actors Nagarjuna Akkineni, Nani, Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh
