Milap Zaveri says his upcoming film, ' Marjaavaan' with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh is a powerful commercial potboiler.
Milap interacted with media on Wednesday, at the success party celebration of the Saif Ali Khan starrer, 'Bazaar'.
When asked if he is nervous or feels any pressure about 'Marjaavaan' after 'Satyameva Jayate's box office results, he said, "Before Satyameva Jayate came out people said that John was not doing well I was a flop director. Things change every Friday, Marjaavaan is a very powerful commercial potboiler. It's coming out of 2nd October next year on Gandhi Jayanti. Plus its got Sidharth and Riteish the 'Ek Villan' pair returning so the audience will be pretty excited about that."
Four years after the action thriller, 'Ek Villain', which featured Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, the two have reunited again for Milap's next directorial, 'Marjaavaan'.
Talking about the upcoming film's genre and concept, Zaveri said, "Marjaavaan is an action love story that is in the zone of Ek Villian, Gajani, Agneepath. It has got powerful dialogues, drama, romance, action, music. It is a commercial entertainer and I hope I make it right so people like it."
