We Tried And Failed With Thugs Of Hindostan Says Aamir Khan
Superstar Aamir Khan went on record and apologized for the failure of “Thugs Of Hindostan”, took full responsibility for the film bombing badly at the box-office.
Expressing his heartfelt apology to the audience and shedding some light on the failure of the film, Aamir Khan said, “I think we went wrong with Thugs of Hindostan, and I would like to take full responsibility for that. You can be sure that we tried our level best. We didn’t leave anything to chance. There are people who have liked the film a lot and we would like to thank them. We are happy that they liked the film but that’s a minority. Majority of the people did not like the film and we are aware of the fact. So there is no doubt that we did go wrong. I take full responsibility for that”
“I want to apologize to the viewers who came to watch my film in the theatres as I was not able to entertain them despite trying my best. But those who came with so many expectations did not enjoy the film and I am feeling very bad about it” added Aamir Khan on the sidelines of an award ceremony of India’s Storytellers Script Contest.
Last Aamir Khan was seen in Dangal, which made box-office history but his recent release “Thugs Of Hindostan” didn’t perform any magic at the box-office. Further adding about the failure, Aamir said he doesn’t want to address the ‘reason’ publicly.
He said, “I am not very comfortable talking about these things in public because I am too close to my films. My film is like my child. So failure is also mine”
