I am afraid to write a script, its a very lonely job says Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan who has previously been part of scripts development and writing says he is afraid to write an entire film script alone but may in future.

Aamir Interacted with media on Tuesday during the Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest's Grand Finale.

Asked if Aamir has ever written an entire film script before, he said, "I have written a bit in my career's time like 'Qayamat Se Qayamt', 'Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke', 'Jo Jeeta Wah Sikandar', but never alone. I am afraid to write alone, it's a very lonely job. I don't know how they do it. Maybe I will someday I don't really know yet."

Talking about his past projects like 'Tare Zameen Par' the lead actor was asked if he has any stories for kid films on his mind and shouldn't the industry make more films for the younger age group. He said, "We should make more films for kids, and I think in our industry very few films are made for kids. They do watch a lot of films but I wish we made more films only just for them."

When asked about his future project and if he is already working on a new script, Aamir said, "I haven't decided anything yet so I will let everyone know as soon as I start working on it."

Aamir's latest release, 'Thugs of Hindostan' failed at the box office with barely crossing 150 crores on the 19th day. The film was made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore and is the costliest film that will come out of Yash Raj Films.

The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805. The Fantasy entertainer starred Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and British actor Lloyd Owen in the pivotal roles.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie released on 8th November 2018.
