Priyanka Chopra Shares A Throwback Picture Of Her Parents

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas remembers her parents' service in the Indian Army as America observed Memorial Day. The actress shared an old picture of her parents in the uniform and posted it on social media.

Priyanka complimented the Memorial Day post by a note on how connected she feels to the military families as she also comes from the Army background. She captioned it, “Both my parents served in the Indian Army... and maybe that's why I feel such a kinship with military families all over the world. Today let's think of all the fallen heroes that have given their lives in service to protect our freedom. #memorialday @madhumalati #LtcolAshokChopra"

Memorial Day is observed every year on the last Monday of May to mourn and honour the military personnel of the country who have lost their lives guarding the nation.

Meanwhile on the work front, Priyanka Chopra will next star in two films for Netflix: an adaptation of Aravind Adiga's satirical novel The White Tiger and Robert Rodriguez's superhero film We Can Be Heroes.

She will also star alongside Richard Madden in Prime Video's thriller series Citadel, and she has been cast in an undisclosed role in The Matrix 4. She will also star as the spiritual guru and convicted criminal Ma Anand Sheela in Barry Levinson's Sheela, a film she will produce for Amazon Studios.
