Shah Rukh Khan Unveils Gunjan Saxena The Kargil Girl Trailer

On the auspicious occasion of Eid, superstar Shah Rukh Khan extends his support of Jahnvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena, unveils the first official trailer of biographical drama of first Indian combat pilot who ventured in Kargil War.

Helmed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian female airforce pilot in combat, alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in supporting roles.

Shah Rukh Khan dropped the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “A story of a hero like no other - Gunjan Saxena - India’s first woman Air Force Officer to go to war. Wishing love and luck to the team for this inspiring film. #GunjanSaxena”

The film follows Gunjan Saxena from her childhood and the time she joins Indian air force. She is treated differently and through challenging times in her life, finds her inner strength and courage to excel in life. It is an inspiring true story of a simple girl with big dreams who stood her ground to rule the skies.

The film also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Ayesha Raza and Manav Vij. The film releases on 12th August, only on Netflix.
