Popular TV actor Sameer Sharma ended his life at his Malad residence in Mumbai. He was 44 years old and reports suggest that the actor passed away a couple of days back.

The TV actor was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his residence in Malad West on Wednesday night.

Celebrities such as Rohit Roy, Kubbra Sait, Sidharth Malhotra and more took to their social media profiles and expressed grief.

Actor Rohit Roy wrote, “Yet another life claimed...yet another journey cut short...How many are we waiting for before we take mental health more seriously... Let’s discuss things which are important rather than debate conspiracy theories... I wish I could say the worst has passed... I’m afraid the worst is yet to come...Sam, RIP my friend”

Actress Kubbra Sait urged people to be kind, she wrote, “The week has witnessed the passing away of Marathi actor Ashutosh Bhakre & today Sameer Sharma. Let’s acknowledge these are testing times & the profession we are in as performers & entertainers is harder than what meets the eye. Be kind. May their souls Rest in Peace”

Sameer Sharma who has featured in many shows Jyoti, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Left Right Left, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir etc had featured in Bollywood film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.

His co-star Sidharth Malhotra expressed grief and shared a still from the movie on Instagram, “Really sad and unfortunate”.
