Raktdhar gets 'A' certification, makers doing their part great, says Shakti Kapoor

Raktdhar gets ‘A’ certification from the Censor Board of Film certification. Shakti kapoor who will be seen in a very different character as a Transgender says that he is not aware of the ‘A’ certification, but says that the makers have done their part and the final cut of the film will turn out to be great.

When asked Shakti Kapoor to comment on the film’s Adult certification he said, “I am not aware of the ‘A’ certification for the film but I am sure the director and producers are doing their part and the final cut will turn out to be great.”

While talking about Raktdhar’s adult certification from Censor Board of Film Certification, producer Dhananjay Dhawan Patil said, “It was not really about the money or box office collection, what we were looking for but it is to create awareness through our film and after receiving this adult certification our scope of audience has been cut down. In spite of the ‘A’ certification, I hope we have maximum eyeballs and we are able to serve the purpose of making the film. We are looking forward to audiences’ response and the change in perspective they will feel when leaving the theater after watching the film.”

The film showcases a story filled with love, politics, revenge and also talks about the injustice transgenders have to face. After Sadashiv Amrspurkar and Paresh Rawal, Shakti will be playing a character of transgender. The film revolves around a victimized transgender's death and how Shakti Kapoor struggles to bring them justice.

The film casts Mukesh Rishi, Shahbaaz Khan, Ehsaan Khan, Deepsikha Naagpal, Manish Khanna, Jimmy Sharma & Sanchita Banerjee.

Shakti Kapoor also announced in Delhi that the filmmakers will be donating a portion of the film's earning to the development and financial aid of orphan kids.

The film directed by Ajit Verma is jointly produced by Dhananjay Dhawan Patil and Rajan Gupta under the banner Chitra Films and is scheduled to release on Friday.
