Best Memories Of Gunjan Saxena Remembers Janhvi Kapoor
After making her debut with Dhadak, actress Janhvi Kapoor is back with her second movie, Gunjan Saxena, which saw its OTT release recently. The film has garnered positive response and now newbie shares some of the most cherished memories from the film.
Janhvi has posted a few videos on Instagram, where she is seen her rehearsing or working out to prepare for her titular character in the film. In one of the images, she is seen with bruised hands. She captioned it, “The best memories. A journey I will always be eternally grateful for; for the people I met along the way, and for everything I felt and learnt”
Talking about the film, Gunjan Saxena, it is a biographical drama helmed by Sharan Sharma, it is inspired by the life of Indian Air Force combat pilot Gunjan Saxena, who entered the war zone during the 1999 Kargil War.
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Viineet Kumar, Manav Vij and Ayesha Raza in pivotal roles.
Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena is a 1999 Kargil War veteran, and the first woman Shaurya Chakra awardee. She is the only woman to be part of the Kargil War, making her the first woman IAF officer to go to war. She is the first of two women along with Flight Lieutenant Srividya Rajan from the IAF to enter a war zone flying Cheetah helicopters.
