"Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story" Teaser Is Out

The biggest Indian Stock Market Scam by Harshad Mehta that took place in Mumbai in the year 1992 caused the Indian Stock Market to crash and shook the whole nation. It led to the reform of the security system of India and now the director Hansal Mehta is bringing a series based on it which will reveal the 'Harshad Mehta' story to everyone.

Sharing the teaser of the series, director Hansal Mehta wrote, "Scam 1992, Official Teaser- 1: Set in 1980's & 90's Bombay, Scam 1992 follows the life of Harshad Mehta - a stockbroker who single handedly took the stock market to dizzying heights & his catastrophic downfall. Being directed by National Award winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the series is based on journalist Debashish Basu & Sucheta Dalal's book "The Scam".

Based on the book 'The Scam' by Debashish Basu and Sucheta Dalal, this series will bring forth the infamous Harshad Mehta scam to the public. The series has been directed by Hansal Mehta and will premiere on Sony Liv.

Actor Pratik Gandhi who is a well known Gujrati theatre artist will be seen playing the role of Harshad Mehta in the show, whereas actress Sherya Dhanwanthary who was featured in 'Family Man' will be seen playing the role of Sucheta Dalal, the fierce journalist.

The show also features Sharib Hashmi, Satish Kaushik, Nikhil Dwivedi, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles.
